Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

Conditions

To process your return, the item(s) must be:

Returned with a proof of purchase (receipt, online order number or a registered transaction in your Tiny Waddles account or order history)
In a re-saleable condition (unused, unworn, in original packaging, original tags attached, unassembled with instruction manuals and accessories included)
Intact with the original protective wrapping, seal sticker or hygiene label tape
Returned with any bonus item(s) provided at the time of purchase

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods.

Additional non-returnable items:

Gift cards
Some health and personal care items
Clearance items and discontinued or ex-display models
Infant formula
Baby swimwear
Underwear such as disposable underwear and training pants
Toilet training items such as potties and toilet seats
Any item that Tiny Waddles expressly states is excluded from change-of-mind returns
- Items sold in unsealed* packaging that are designed for close skin contact such as:
  – Teethers
  – Dummies & soothers
  – Bottle Teats
  – Personal health items such as a hairbrush, scalp comb, toothbrush, nail clippers or nasal aspirator
  – Pregnancy and baby skincare such as creams, screens, lotions or balms
  – Postpartum items such as perineal or breast care
  – Breastfeeding products such as colostrum collectors, breastmilk pumps, silver nursing cups, nursing pads and breast shields
*Our definition of unsealed is an item that comes in packaging that has no seal, protective sticker or hygiene label tape.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

Book with obvious signs of use
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Faulty, Warranty & Repairs

If you believe your item is faulty, please mail your item with a proof of purchase for assessment.

Please note, some faults may require further inspection, and we may need to send the item to the brand or manufacturer for a detailed assessment.

You’re protected under the Australian Consumer Law if a product has an issue. The resolution available to you depends on the nature of the problem (i.e. whether there is a “major” or “minor” problem with the item). If there is a major failure, you are entitled to choose between a replacement or refund, and you may be entitled to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

A major failure is when:

you would not have bought the item if you had known about the problem; or
the item is significantly different from the description, sample or demonstration model shown; or
the item is substantially unfit for their normal purpose, or a purpose that the consumer told Tiny Waddles about, and cannot be rectified within a reasonable time; or
the item is unsafe

If there is no major failure, you are entitled to have the items repaired or replaced within a reasonable time where:

If you live in Australia, the goods fail to be of acceptable quality; or
If it is not repaired in a reasonable time, you can choose a refund or replacement.

If the item is found not to be faulty, or has been damaged due to inappropriate use:

Tiny Waddles may refuse to provide a refund, repair, or exchange.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at office@tinywaddles.com.au

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: {3 Kardinian Avenue Cheltenham 3192 Victoria, Australia}.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
